When buying a luxury home or estate, we recognize that the path forward for high net worth individuals and their families can be overwhelmingly complex. We call this process Real Estate Planning, and it involves visioning and mapping out a plan that aligns with one’s dreams, goals and objectives for the purpose of ensuring success with the least amount of inconvenience, stress and inefficiency. We aim for ease, grace and satisfaction as we move through this process together.

The experience begins with one or more visioning sessions in which clients define their ideal real estate outcomes so that these priorities and preferences drive their life-size financial decisions. We explore the purpose for making a change, and if a change is what they genuinely want, we move to the visioning phase which allows the client to envision where they would like to live out this next chapter of their lives. Once the purpose and vision are defined, we work together to create a strategic real estate plan to realize the client’s vision.

The next step involves collaborating with our client’s advisors to ensure that the real estate plan is consistent with their financial & estate plans. The Financial Advisor, Accountant, Estate Planning Attorney and Insurance Broker are critical to this process and, we highly recommend consulting with them. The purchase of a new home, for example, might involve developing integrative strategies between the various advisors. Or, depending on the immediate needs of our clients, more innovative and complex strategies might be offered, such as other asset leveraging tools which may be a more viable, efficient option than the traditional means of cash and/or selling of certain assets or real estate. At other times, additional professionals may be brought into the conversation—always ensuring a holistic perspective and approach.
